Dr. Pankaj Vohra is a former consultant at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, USA, and is currently available as a Senior Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Max Healthcare, New Delhi. His primary aim and passion is to disseminate scientifically researched and proven methods of treating sick children and promoting good health. He has extensive experience in managing children with feeding issues, gastrointestinal and liver diseases including management of children with liver transplantation, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr. Vohra has led several clinical researches in various fields of pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology including celiac disease (wheat allergy), complications of typhoid fever, role of prothrombin time in acute liver disease in children, role of evaluation of pus cells in stools in absence of bloody diarrhea. Apart from these, he has researched, deliberated and talked at various forums on benefits of hepatitis A vaccine in promoting good health.
Recognizing the fact that feeding difficulty including obesity is common in children today, and Dr. Pankaj Vohra has taken up the task of disseminating information promoting good feeding habits and practices, how to reassure parents on if their child is eating adequately or not and how to gauge that, informing pediatricians and general practioners on how to identify feeding difficulties in children and treat them.
